Taylor's first camping trip to Cass Lake

We left on June 28th,2004 for Cass Lake - Bill, Taylor and myself. This has always been our favorite place to camp since about 1972. Our best friends, Linda and John Galbraith first introduced us to Pike's Bay back then. All of our children - Randy, Kris and Britton - camped every summer for many, many years prior.

Taylor just loved it except for the "yucky stinky bathrooms" - ha ha!!

We were able to go again since a family in church gave Taylor a tent for her birthday. Britton/Jason were already up there camping with Jason's brother a few days before we got there.

The second day Taylor swam, went boating, swam, tubing, swam, casted a lot with her new fishing rod (that Daddy bought her) from shore, and swam and swam and swam.

Unfortunately, we kind of lost track of time and food and drinking. It was hot and she got overheated and sick that night; but thankfully was ok.

We had a wonderful week there with only two mornings with rain.

We are hoping to go next year for a week with at least Linda and John and maybe some of our family.
